Earlier this week Terrell Owens did an interview with Michael Irvin. In that interview he state that the Bengals are shooting themselves in the foot. Later he went on to say that he tried to say stuff that he's learned but the Bengals Orginization would not listen.
Some people may say that it's just T.O just trying to be a loud mouth or whatever, but he is absolutely right. I'm not for certain if he's offered them ideas, but if he has the Bengals need to listen.
This is a player that has been in winning football programs. He kind of knows what he's talking about.
The orginization won't listen to anyone, and that is why we haven't won a Super Bowl in Cincinnati.
If the Bengals do not rid themselves of their offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski then this team will not have a dominating offense.
Carson Palmer takes all the heat for making mistakes, but there is so much wrong with this team right now I don't know where to start.
The entire team has plagued themselves with penalties year in and year out. You can't win games if after a positive play you have it called back because you weren't doing your job correctly.
When Terrell Owens pushed off for the catch at the end of the game, that was what beat the Bengals. Palmer threw an interception after that because he had to throw it in order to stay alive in the game.
Palmer has always had issues with interceptions, and everyone needs to shut up about the whole "never the same afer that injury," bit.
The Bengals need to regroup this week and come out of the gates next week playing hard disciplined football. There is no more "gimme games." A team that should be 4-1 right now sits at 2-3 and from this point on will prove if they really are a championship calliber team.
The talent is there. The right quarterback is there. The smash mouth defense is there. They need better play calling, and their fundamentals refurbished.
