The Bengals have made plenty of additions to their receiving core in order to be a threat in the passing game this season, but it doesn't mean they couldn't do more to help it.
Bengals are now hot on the trail of Terrell Owens, and seems like they are the only ones after St. Louis dropped out of the conversation.
It doesn't seem that any teams are sneaking until the last moment to outbid the Bengals, and I think Terrell Owens is the best fit for the Bengals more than any other team.
Owens was humbled by his experience in Buffalo and I can't see him destroying the Bengals locker room like he did San Fransisco, Philly, and Dallas.
The Bengals already have a stiff competition going on with the receivers adding a veteran player like Owens only helps the situation. He already has a good relationship with Chad Ochocinco, and Carson Palmer has made it a point to try and get him on the team.
When Palmer wants a player he has a big influence on who the team picks up and if he thinks Owens can help the team he'll be there.
The biggest thing is the team needs to get him into training camp by the first day so he can learn the play book and get a feel for the team. There is a chance that other players will work out better than Owens and they need to find out as soon as possible.
This move will work tremendously for the fans because if you hate the Bengals you'll hate them more and if you love them you'll love them more.
If Owens sticks with the Bengals then he will be a ticket seller for a program that barely sold out every game last season.
Ochocinco and Owens together is going to be a show to watch, and I expect a lot of trash talking to happen as well as some big plays in the offense. I've been waiting for this move all summer and it finally seems like it's going to happen.
