Ochocinco Makes His First Appearance and Prediction For 2010
Chad Ochocinco has been in the midst of a bit of controversy with his off-season activities. First the Bengals star receiver was a contestant on Dancing With the Stars now his own dating show on VH1.
Carson Palmer made the statement that he wished he was at the practices, and of course the media read too much into it. Carson and Chad said everything was great and that the quarterback was saying nothing negative.
Chad came in and practiced really hard with only a bit of rust, which will progress throughout the mini camp.
It's great that Chad's in working with the team, but he has also been busy with his famous predictions. This time he was predicting who will be the best team in the AFC North.
He claimed that the Bengals have the best team in the division and praised his teams defense and said that Anquan Boldin will not matter against the Bengals fourth ranked defense.
The Bengals certainly have the talent to be the best team in the division, but you have to prove it before you say anything. Don't claim you're better unless you know you can back it up.
Chad said that the Ravens haven't proven anything yet, but neither have the Bengals so far this season. They made it to the playoffs and lost while the Ravens beat the Patriots in the first round.
The Ravens also have a Super Bowl Championship under the direction of current Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis.
This team has everything necessary to win a championship they need to go out there and play their game. They gave away too many “gimme” games that they should have won and it cost them a first round bye in the playoffs.
In order to win Chad needs to put his skills where his mouth is and give the Bengals a star receiver to open up opportunities for his other players to make plays.
The addition of Jermaine Gresham was key because the tight end position was open all the time last season the players they had did not support them though.
With Big Ben suspended and the Browns building their team, or trying to, the Bengals and Ravens are the front runners going in to the season.
I think this divisional rivalry will heat up once these to take the field against one another, and Chad needs to watch out because Ray Lewis and his defense will be calling his number.
